Taking Action in T/A Bibi Kuluunda
The Salima District Council Executive Committee (DEC) has officially given the green light to our AmplifyChange-funded pamoja project. Titled "Muscle Up for free, safe and quality SRHR and post abortal care services," this initiative is set to be implemented in T/A Bibi Kuluunda, specifically targeting the Lifuwu Health Center in the district.
Our Strategic Focus
This approval marks the beginning of 12 months of dedicated capacity building, grassroots advocacy, and targeted lobbying. The project focuses heavily on strengthening community advocacy skills geared toward the long-term implementation of SRHR policies, ensuring the provision of safe, quality post-abortal care services by health facilities, and addressing the growing population of girls and young women recorded as having unsafe abortions due to teenage pregnancies and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs).
